What’s new at the studio

Goats!

This painting was started in the spring, shortly after I visited a goat farm owned by a family friend in Petersham. These girls were huddled together on the chilly day in a small shed, and I snapped their picture for this painting. I love that they looked happy, even on a dreary day! This piece is a whopping 40″ x 30″.

Sam at 9

Finished this panoramic painting of my girl, Sam. I LOVE long weekends, spending the extra day in the studio. Bonus: it was a rainy day – the BEST kind of studio day!

UPDATE: This piece was accepted into the inaugural Northeast Fine Arts Exhibit in Ware, on display through the end of October!

Summer creations

Pressed flower stationery in its final stages, ready to sell at Dandelions Artisan Gift Shop in Barre, MA. Dried flowers and herbs are featured on these delicately layered creations, and packaged individually with a colored envelope. The multi-step process used to create these note cards is worth the effort. The end results are unique works of art–no two are the same!

Fun with Pop Pop

This group enjoyed a warm summer afternoon in the studio, painting birdhouses and eating pizza! Bridget decided then and there that someday she wanted her own art studio. Memories MADE!
